We established this blog site in order to easily update our friends and family who may be far away, especially now that we have a toddler and a little one on the way. Check back occasionally for updated pictures and news.

About Tony and Tawni…
Tony is a Sales Associate for a plumbing wholesale supplier. He volunteers for our local fire department, where he also received an EMT certification. Tawni continues to chase around Micah while trying to prepare for their 2nd child on the way.
In 2008, we welcomed our little guy into the world! Micah James DeYoung was born September 8th at 1:36p. He weighed 6 lbs 5 oz and measured at 19 1/2 inches long. Check back for updates and pictures as Micah develops into a little man!
Our second one is on the way… a daughter that we’ve named Kaelyn. She’s due September 12th, and we just can’t wait to have her here! She’s been on quite a journey herself, and you can check out the details on the Kaelyn’s Story page.
We love God first and foremost, and we are grateful to have a very tight group of family and friends. Our lives pretty much revolve around those things.
Seven years of marriage and counting… We met at Azusa Pacific University, where we met some of our life-long friends (who we miss greatly!!).
Our recent move turned us into mountain people, when we relocated to Colorado after living in California for many years. Although our family is missed oh so much, it’s good to be here. Nature has become one of the things we enjoy the most, and we try to find the time to hike at least once a week. It’s easy because just outside our door, there are hiking trails on which people travel a long way to hike!
Just hanging out with friends and family is our favorite thing to do…usually that involves coffee, talking over a meal, laughing at any & everything, watching movies (and of course quoting movies…I think we do that MORE than we actually watch them!).
We love sports (for Tony it’s football, and for Tawni it’s baseball) and try to attend games as often as possible. Summertime is the best time for Rockies and Sky Sox games!
In 2007 we experienced two miscarriages. It was one of the toughest and most challenging time of our lives. However we have an indescribable peace that can only come from God and the knowledge that He has a plan for our lives. Romans 8:28 says: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
